Preston Adjustable Beveled Wall Mount Hinge Full Offset Back Plate Matte Black finish is a wall mount hinge constructed from Brass material, designed for residential bath and commercial hotel applications using tempered safety glass. This hinge features a beveled profile and a full offset back plate style. It is suitable for glass thicknesses ranging from 3/8" to 1/2" (10mm to 12mm). The hinge uses a dual degree pivot pin, factory set at 90 degrees for normal door closing, but it allows for field adjustment to an additional 5 degrees of closing for a firmer positive position against a jamb or seal. The hinge is self-centering within 15 degrees of the closed position. For installations using two hinges, the maximum door weight capacity is 80 lbs and the maximum door width is 28". When using three hinges, the maximum door weight capacity is 120 lbs and the maximum door width is 32". The hinge height is 3-1/2" and the width is 2-1/8". The glass gap is 7/16". The backplate height is 3-1/2" and the backplate width is 1-15/16". A cutout is required for installation. This unit includes the hinge, glazing gaskets, wall mounting screws, hex head screws, cross head cover plate screws, and a fabrication template.
