Plus Scotts EZ Seed now has a tackifier to reduce seed wash-away on sloped areas of your lawn.
- Prior to EZ Seed application, prepare area by removing any dead grass or plant material and loosening the soil with a rake
- Apply product when temperatures are ideal for germination and growth
- Optimal daytime air temperatures for planting are between 70 and 90 degrees fahrenheit and all danger of frost has passed
- Water as often as needed so that the area stays evenly moist
- Monitor EZ Seed color for indication that the area requires water. EZ Seed becomes dark brown in color when it’s wet and light brown when it’s dry
